So… Taylor Swift has this new video called “Bad Blood” and it’s already breaking records.

What are my thoughts about the video? I’m not a big fan of it. The song is okay, but I don’t find it as catchy as her previous works: “Shake It Off”, “Blank Space”, “Style”… In theory, the video has everything to be epic, but for some reason, it’s “magic” it’s not working on me. Too many unnecessary cameos… Awkward action sequences…

Oh well, here’s what I’ve learned from her “Bad Blood” video:

  • Watch your back, betrayal is usually an unexpected visitor.
  • Nobody looks good after falling from a building (unless you’re Taylor Swift).
  • Cool girls don’t look at explosions.
  • Don’t mess with her, she’ll write a song about you.

Though I’m not impressed, it was a good effort from her. Is her “Bad Blood” video original? Hmm… I see some Britney Spears references, especially from her video “Womanizer” and “Toxic”. In my opinion, there are also some “sprinkles” of: “Tron: Legacy”, “Hunger Games” and “Kill Bill”. But hey, she’s not the only one doing it. Almost all of Iggy Azalea’s videos are inspired by classics: Change Your Life (Showgirls), Fancy (Clueless), Black Widow (Kill Bill) and so on…

I’ll leave the following clip so you can judge for yourselves…
