Fake or Real? Some people say that Hyundai orchestrated the whole story. Others say the whole idea is a waste of time and money. In my opinion, commercials are supposed to tell stories and bring emotions, that’s how they become memorable. They shouldn’t have a pragmatic tone to them. Just say no to things that are banal!
Companies should explore fantasies in order to sell products. No matter how far-fetched commercials are, they should possess a relatable element to them. For instance, the presented scenario is very unlikely too happen, but the story that is trying to tell will resonate with a lot of people: a daughter that misses her father.
Having said that, I don’t care whether it’s real or not. I thought the commercial was actually pretty cool. Thumbs up for creativity!
